Our Story
When we met 18 years ago we were both on welfare, living light years away from our potential, and paralyzed by fear. Ten months later we married. We'd like to tell you that everything magically changed. It didn't. It gradually got worse over the next decade.
We felt imprisoned by survival jobs, stayed safe in acting classes, and became addicted to therapy and the round robin of self help books. We didn't live month to month. We lived week to week, and eventually day to day.
What kept us together was a genuine love for one another, a respect for each others talent, an earnestness to have a better life, and a desire to live our dreams together.
Yet, the more we tried to accomplish this, the more we spiraled further away from our dreams, deeper into despair and unhappiness, and dangerously close to our marriage breaking apart.
THEN...
In 2003 an incredible understanding happened. We realized there was NOTHING wrong with us. We were applying faulty information, techniques, and models, that kept alive the same internal cycles that were getting in our way.
We also discovered an extraordinary amount of inaccuracies in the world of self-help that actually promoted age regression, dependency, and self-sabotage.
The result of this incredible discovery was a movement from what Stephen Colbert calls "truthiness" to the TRUTH.
Though an often over used term, our lives truly took a quantum leap.
After this incredible realization, and powerful ensuing results in our own lives, we were compelled to bring our findings out into the world. And we brought it out to who we knew best; actors and artists.
This was the birth of Acting Success Now.
Today we continue to work with actors, ranging from being new to the business, to being major award winning artists in our field. This also includes singers, dancers, writers, directors, casting directors, and producers.
It has been stunning and humbling to watch how Acting Success Now has positively affected the lives and successes of countless people over these past seven years.
